Council approves first reading of bylaw for 1000-metre wind tower setback

PICTOU – County council has approved the first reading of an amendment to the wind energy bylaw. Councillors voted in favour of the amendment, with the exception of one nay vote, to see wind turbines set back from residences increased to 1,000 metres.
